Are you having a terrible time coming up with a gift for mom? I don’t know about you, but my mother has pretty much everything that she could ever want.
This sure makes it difficult coming up with gift ideas for Mothers Day. With Mother’s Day a little over a week away we have complied a list of gifts that any Disney loving mother would love.
Since the International Flower and Garden Festival is still going on at Epcot, you can treat mom to a day at the park filled with blooms and butterflies. The Flower and Garden festival is no extra charge and is included in the price of admission to Epcot. If mom prefers to spend the day elsewhere you can always bring the festival to her with Disney character shaped topiaries available through the end of the May at the Noahs’ Ark Kiosk located in the World Showcase.
How about Mickey Waffles? Any mom that is a Disney fan has had these, and just the sight of them can make you smile. Treat mom to a Character breakfast at any of the parks many choices of buffets that feature these famous waffles. A few that come to mind are Garden Grill at Epcot and The Crystal Palace at The Magic Kingdom. She can eat waffles to her hearts content while she gets to meet some fun classic characters. Too far from the park or just feel like treating mom to breakfast in bed? You can always make Mickey Shaped waffles at home with this awesome waffle maker.
How about a spa day. Your mom loves you very much but my guess is that she would love some time away to relax in some peace and quiet. Treat her to a relaxing day at one of Disney’s top notch spas. You can also make her a lovely basket of items to pamper herself. H2O, Disney’s line of bath and body necessities is now available to purchase. No more hoarding tiny bottles of shampoos and conditioners, as now you can get your very own full sized bottles to overindulge mom. The grapefruit bergamot shimmering body souffle is one of our favorites if anyone is taking notes.
Does Mom need a new handbag? Well, let’s face it, even if mom has 42 purses she can always use another. There are tons of Disney handbags on the market these days of all shapes and sizes. Dooney and Bourke has been making Disney themed bags for quite some time. We have yet to review the awesome Haunted Mansion bag that we bought back in February, but they are well worth every penny. Each bag is a quality bag and the classic Disney designs insure that they will last for years to come. Harveys Disney bags are a little newer on the scene and feature fun Disney designs on a sturdy seatbelt material.
Last but not least, when all else fails you can buy mom Disney Jewelry. Jewelry is another thing that any mom, or any woman for that matter can never have enough of. Get mom started with her very own collection of Disney Alex and Ani bracelets or if she is a Pandora lover you can grab another charm to add to her wrist.
We hope that you found this list helpful. Will you be buying a Disney inspired gift for mom this year?
