5 Places To Enjoy An Adult Beverage At Walt Disney World
A lot of people think that Walt Disney World is a place for children, but it is really for the young at heart. We love Walt Disney World, and we love to indulge in the occasional cocktail while visiting. Here are our five favorite places to imbibe at Walt Disney World Resort.
Located at Disney’s Boardwalk, Abracadabar is the fun magic themed lounge where you can stop in for a fun drink. Try the Conjurita to witness some fun slight of hand by the waitstaff. The complimentary popcorn and chickpeas are a nice touch too!
Located next to Tusker House at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Dawa Bar is a great place to stop for a quick drink. With a large selection of (STRONG) specialty cocktails, and Disney’s own Safari Amber you really can’t go wrong. This is also a great place to try the elusive Tusker Lager. Located in the heart of the Harambe Village there is always plenty going on here for entertainment while you sip.
Tune In Lounge
This 50’s themed lounge is off the beaten path, adjacent to the Prime Time Cafe at Hollywood Studios near Echo Lake. This adorable bar is decorated with bric a brac from an era long past and black and white televisions keep with the theme showing clips of Leave it to Beaver and the Original Mickey Mouse Club. Try Dad’s Electric Lemonade or a variety of craft and Draft beers.
Trader Sams Grog Grotto
Trader Sam’s is hands down our favorite themed bar at Walt Disney World. This clever Tiki bar is located at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. The specialty cocktails in this joint all come with a fun story. We recommend the Krakatoa Punch for first timers. Grab a seat at the bar, Skipper and be prepared to make a lot of new friends in this cozy drinkery.
The Brown Derby Lounge
If you are looking to grab a quick drink at Hollywood Studios, pop into the Brown Derby Lounge. Located just outside the Hollywood Brown Derby, this little bar cart is a great place for a glass of wine or beer while waiting on the evening fireworks. Grab a table on a nice evening and you will have a prime spot to sip a Champagne Cocktail and enjoy the small plates this lounge has to offer.
