A Magic Kingdom Tradition Comes To An End
Disney’s Electrical Parade is Glowing Away on October 9th. Sadly, this makes this week the last chance to see it before it moves back to Disneyland for a limited time. From the gleaming, gliding floats and beloved Disney Characters to the dancers and music, everything about the Main Street Electrical Parade shimmers with pure Disney Magic.
We were lucky enough to be able to enjoy Disney’s Electrical Parade one last time on a recent visit and it was a little emotional. The Main Street Electrical Parade has always been one of our favorite shows at Magic Kingdom, and we would often watch it nightly as kids and young teenagers.
The parade will be running throughout the week except on nights during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Be sure to check the Times Guide at Magic Kingdom park for the schedule and showtimes. Since this is an outdoor show, it is subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. Scheduled dates for the final week include October 3rd, 5th, 8th, and 9th.
If you think you wont be able to make a trip to Magic Kingdom before the final then you can catch the parade in it’s entirety here.
